Inner Peace
Women’s Retreat

Celebrate Summer
June 27 – 30, 2024
3 nights
Santosha at Hillholm Estate
Kingfield, Maine
a beautifully restored historic inn, a quaint mountain village, the picturesque Carrabassett River

Got the winter blues, or are you simply ready for light, warmth, joy and good vibes? Are you in this life to be a light, share your gifts, or support others? Maybe you’re just trying to get through this crazy world one day at a time. You can’t do it with an empty vessel, and you can’t do it alone!

Begin your summer with a ritual of self-care and make sacred space for you! You will learn the art of yin and yang balancing of your inner and outer energies for easeful and joyful summer living.

Envision yourself on this luscious getaway, relaxed, gazing at the mountains, breathing deeply, soaking in warmth of the sun, and compassionate soul sisters gathered around you. Come and lay your burdens down by the river and let the waters carry them away. Make room for "santosha", a sanskrit word for contentment and living life from a calm and centered place, and a heart filled with gratitude.

"And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet
and the winds long to play with your hair."
- Khalil Gibran

Retreat Activities qigong for summer, yoga nidra for relaxation, swimming or cold water dipping (depending on the temps) for rejuvenation, meditation, silence, and walking wooded trails.
You will have time for YOU, exploring, reading, journaling, resting or whatever you need. All in the company and community of other compassionate women! Enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi, watch the sunset and sit around a warm fire at night. Ahhh, and delicious nourishing food and beverages catering to omnivore, pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan diets.

Don't hesitate, join our intimate group of women for a fabulous time unplugged!
Return home with your feet rooted to the earth, the blessing of warmth, a radiant glow in your heart, & a clear mind.

You will learn a 20 minute routine to take home and practice for the summer for greater love, joy, warmth and compassion. Like my teacher Mantak Chia says, "More love, more joy, more happy".

Your Retreat Leader

Hi, I'm Susan Stibler and I am passionate about leading transformational experiences for women. I've been a licensed psychotherapist for 24 years, have led women's retreats for the past sixteen years, am a certified yoga therapist, and qigong teacher. Our time together with connection to spirit, nature, silence, reflection and community will lead you home to your own heart and inner wisdom.

These are a few of my favorite things: I've been studying ayurvedic integrative nutrition, have had lots of fun cooking and sharing and my certification culminated with an amazing trip to India this past October. I love listening to the rolling waves, walking near the beach, and swimming in the Atlantic (yes, dipping all year). It is magic living near the coast and I am so grateful to the ocean and the great goddess of the ocean Yemaya with her strong protective love, compassion and energy.

“I am so appreciative of Susan’s generous spirit,
teaching, and love!” past retreat participant

"May you grow still enough to hear the trickling of water seeping into the ground, so that your soul may be softened and healed, and guided in it's flow. May you grow still enough to hear the splintering of starlight in the winter sky and the roar at the earth's fiery core".
